my life is boring. hence, no xanga update for months. but im kind of sick of seeing that good looking borat on my page (yes... i do check my OWN xanga even though i dont update... im a narcissist and stalk myself) so its time for an update.

my love for crossword puzzles is back!  in high school i used to do the la times crossword everyday in my last class.. i know, i was REALLY cool in high school. then at ucla they had an easier (so more fun) version in the daily bruin and i did those as often as i could. (sometimes, when i didnt have time to do em in class, i would rip them out and save them for a later time - ie: lonely meal, before i sleep, etc. - i was also REALLY cool in college).

anyway, i havent done them in a couple years, but recently i started doing them online, which isnt nearly as fun as physically writing it.  also, they have answers so sometimes i cheat and click the "reveal word" button. um... end of story. (i really dont have anything to write about right now).

btw. even though i do them often.. i still suck.

went to JT concert... look how close we were! i cheated and snuck my way into closer seats - we were scared/nervous the entire time, but it was so worth it.  btw, hes hot.

i didnt think i can like a celebrity more than him.. but then i started to watch prisonbreak and got pretty stalker obsessed with hot michael scofield:

ive been thinking a lot lately about how lucky and happy i am to have met this guy and have him in my life.  he makes me laugh a lot and hard, and i really cant stop thinking about him... i dont know if thats so healthy. if u dont know who im talking about, heres a recent pic of him:

i didnt realize how much i enjoyed the movie until when i got home, and was laughing myself to sleep thinking about it. i know some parts were WAY wrong, but i think the fact that it was SO wrong made it funny. kinda like family guy = so inappropriate = comedy.

anyway, now that my pics are looking normal again.. here are some that will sum up what ive been up to.

went to my school's dance/formal. jean was my date. a WAY better date than other people i know...=)

tried to scare people during halloween... (and right now). i think it worked.

cutie snow white hannah. i remember i had a snow white dress when i was younger, and would literally wear it everywhere. i was one of "those" weird kids that wore costumes during non-costume occasions.

fine. second funniest person (after borat). u can see i am VERY fond of this guy. (i actually just wanted to add another good pic of me in the mix).

sometimes i get really proud of myself, especially for doing things that are counter to how i am, and like to tell people and brag about how great i am (for other reasons).

i was talking to esther the other day (my old roomie who got to know all my very "girly, feminine, hygienic, healthy" qualities) and was having a bragging moment.

excitedly, i asked her: GUESS WHAT I DID YESTERDAY?!

est (aka beast): uh... PUT ON LOTION?!

me: no...

beast: EAT VEGETABLES??

me: no...

beast: SHAVE???

me: no.... i worked out...

sucks.

(btw, i really wanted to start working out, so asked my sis if she wanted to run. we decided to run around our neighborhood until we got tired.  after several blocks i was really proud of myself - and panting and sweating like a beast, aka esther - so we stopped.  i didnt know how far it was, but i guessed it had to be at least a mile.  the next day, i drove the route we ran to calculate the miles with my car... it was about 0.4 miles... i havent ran since)

most of u know, geralds in dc... so you can guess what that means.  PARRTAAY! (jk. dont cry, youre SO sensitive).  i visited him about a month ago... and i have to admit, the thing i was the MOST excited for was this:

seriously, its the BIGGEST, BEST (best because it's the biggest) pizza ever!  i didnt get to have it the last time i visited dc, so for the past couple years i couldnt stop thinking about it... it seriously makes me so happy. 

i would post pics of dc up, but i dont think i look good enough in any of them (except the one above, seriously, i think i look kinda cute next to the big pizza).

sidenote: once i got my pictures back, and was bummed that i turned out really bad (so i thought).  my dad saw it and started cracking up and said "what? why u so mad? u think u look better than that in real life??" (my dad totally jacked me... hes so cool).

oh! and it happened again.  cindy had a pic of me and ger up on her xanga.. and i was kinda sad cus i thought i didnt look too great... then jinny commented: "oh mina looks good in that pic" ... hm....(i seriously am not trying to brag, just trying to prove my point).

it was my brothers birthday so we all went out to dinner.  he came to his birthday dinner in this:

and finally, the most exciting news! marcia had a baby boy! congratulations to the yus! i love yu guys (get it?? yu? instead of you? im hilarious).

isaiah was born 8 pounds 11 ounces! big healthy baby!

seriously, ive never felt so blessed, thankful, loved, special (and hot) than i did this past weekend.  thank you so much for making my birthday so wonderful!

the company, the gifts, the calls, the texts, the cards, the xanga shoutouts, the emails all really mean so much. for real. and for those who didnt, i know you were all thinking about it, so thanks to you too! im sure you all really wanted to, but for some unforeseen circumstances, you were unable to. so i understand.  (im not even being sarcastic... do i have a false sense of reality/egocentricism?)

(but dont worry im not sensitive about people forgetting my birthday, i do it all the time. a couple of my closest friends from high school - i think in the 5+ years ive known them, i never remembered their birthdays... sad... but kinda hilarious?)

but really, know how thankful and appreciative i am. i have the best friends. and im so thankful for all of you... (yes, even you stalkers who never comment but read this...).

with that being said, wish me luck on my finals. played a little too much this weekend... so gotta study hard...
